November News

Since we have so many different things going on this month I’m dedicating November’s News to our schedule but before I do, let me prelude that with a reminder.  Every year we place a food barrel in our lobby to collect food for the Chattanooga Area Food Bank.  Two years ago we had approximately 700 pounds of donated food but dropped a couple of hundred pounds this past year.  Let’s try to bring our numbers back up this year and beat our current standing!  So, as an incentive–for the next 2 months we are putting aside our registration fee at the auction and instead are asking that everyone bring non-perishable food items to place in the food barrel.  This is a great opportunity to help people right here in our own community who may happen to be in need.  Please open your hearts and help if you can.

So that you can mark your calendars now, here’s November’s schedule of events:

  • Saturday, November 23: Winter Extravaganza Open House/Preview Party, 5p.m.-8p.m.  This is lovingly known as “Perry’s Winter Extravaganza” so dress up a little and plan to attend! This is always a fun time and allows us to show appreciation to our auction family!  Enjoy good company, great food & spirits while previewing auction items to the sounds of live music provided by the enormously talented and good friend Terry Coggins!
  • Friday, November 29, 6p.m.: Specialty Auction featuring Fine Jewelry, Art, etc. (Stan has worked on putting together a wonderful and diverse collection of stunning jewelry pieces to offer including gemstones of all kinds, pearls, Bracelets, Necklaces and Rings.)  This is a great opportunity to do your Christmas jewelry shopping!
  • Saturday, November 30, 11a.m.: Regularly scheduled auction
  • Sunday, December 1, 1p.m.: Regularly scheduled auction

If you have any questions regarding what’s going on this month, please give me a call.  Remember also that this is our last month to mail out hard copy flyers, instead we’ll be sending out our EMAIL BLAST, so if you have not been receiving a monthly email, please let us know so that we can keep you up-to-date!

Thanks! Mike
